My wife and I absolutely love La Mexicana. By far our favorite Mexican food in Chicago. The plantain burrito steak tacos are delicious the fried ice cream is a must buy to finish the meal. We probably order La Mexicana every 2 weeks because it is so good. Highly recommended. We've tried other Mexican places but always come back to our La Mex! View all feedback.
What Болотбек Бекмаматов doesn't like about La Mexicana Grill:
I wasn't allowed to use the restroom, which was frustrating since I work as a delivery driver. They only allowed access for customers. Additionally, the parking situation was inadequate, and overall, the service was disappointing. View all feedback.
Quesadilla was okay and small. The rice is bland. Good beans though. It’s hard to find good Mexican rice in
I ordered tamales and they were so burnt they were not eatable. I do not recommend this place at all as they refused to refund me.

We recently ordered catering from La Mexicana Grill, and it was an incredible experience! We booked on Tuesday for Wednesday, and they were super accommodating. We opted for the taco bar with carne asada, chicken, rice, and beans. Everything was top-notch – from the abundance of sauces to the fresh ingredients and tortillas. They did an excellent job for our group of 10, and the quality surpassed our expectations. La Mexicana Grill is a gem – fantastic service, delicious food, and surprisingly affordable. We highly recommend it!
I wasn't impressed with the food at this restaurant. I don't know what others ordered, but my flautas had meat that was poorly seasoned, and the chicken was extremely dry. The description promised fresh chips and salsa, but the salsa was clearly from a jar and tasted store-bought. I ordered through Uber Eats, hoping to enjoy a meal from the best-rated Mexican restaurant, and I'm really upset that this place was recommended. I spent a lot of money on dry, bland flautas and pre-packaged salsa when they couldn't even make a simple fresh pico de gallo. I suggest you take a look at these comments before considering a visit.
