Would give 10/10 if I could. Same vibes and clientele as a Chicago hot dog stand except everyone if Pakistani or afghani and the food is deliciously made in house and not processed. View all feedback.
What Ado Sibalo doesn't like about Kababish Bbq Grill:
The place would benefit tremendously from some quality control.I had some incredible goat biryani but there were bones with the meat and I kept biting into what I’d think was meat but was actually bone.My girlfriend got the butter chicken and she said that the chicken tasted weird so I tried some of it and it was 100% expired. Kababish proved to be a fortuitous find when I arrived in town late last night, desperately seeking sustenance after 12 am. As the sole beacon of culinary activity at that hour, the bustling scene upon entering hinted at a local gem. Remarkably reasonable prices greeted me, dispelling any concerns about late-night convenience store fare. The absence of photographic evidence is a testament to the immediacy with which I devoured my meal; it was simply that good. The excellence of the food was evident in every bite, showcasing a mastery of flavors that left a lasting impression. The service, commendably efficient given the late hour, contributed to an overall positive experience. The establishment itself exuded cleanliness, a factor often overlooked but crucial for enjoyment. Additionally, finding parking was a breeze, adding to the convenience of the visit. In retrospect, Kababish proved to be more than a mere late-night necessity; it became an unexpected highlight of my culinary adventures. I find myself not only willing but eager to return, a testament to the satisfaction derived from my initial visit. In conclusion, for those in search of delectable cuisine, reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere, Kababish is a highly recommended choice – an experience I thoroughly enjoyed and would gladly endorse.
Ufff!!! Dada udham ho gya aaj tu ... my goodness best chapli kabab place in Chicago area, never have this kind phenomenal food . Thanks alot for your recommendation BASIT BHAI
Order ahead of time. If you like spicy, Chili chicken is delicious.
Food: Delicious and authentic Pakistani/Indian food. Biryani (goat) was the best I’ve had at a restaurant in the US. House made naans, dal (lentils), and chicken botti kebabs were really good too. Nice too that it’s an open kitchen unlike most ethnic restaurants. So you can see how it’s prepared and see what the dishes look like before ordering Cannot choose spiciness levels, and the food is quite spicy. Ambiance: Very simple settings imagine a hole in the wall diner. small space with about 8 plastic tables along with plastic chairs. Order at the counter. When I came with my family, the only clientele were men who had just finished prayer. Staff is very friendly. Overall: come here for delicious, authentic food. But not if you would be bothered by simple settings or spicy food.
Great food! Nice tea but can be more cleaner with more lighting and need good table and chair. Food quality superb
