Hub 51 - Chicago
Hub 51
Description
Hub 51, a once beloved restaurant, has recently been receiving negative reviews pointing out a decline in food quality, service, and menu variety. Customers have complained about missing ingredients in dishes, slow service, and lackluster drinks. Despite these complaints, some diners still enjoy the ambiance, particularly the open windows and music selection. The limited menu has been a disappointment for long-time patrons, while others praise specific items such as the chicken nachos and flavored tacos. Overall, opinions on Hub 51 appear to be divided, with some recommending it as a great spot for a date or brunch, while others have decided to remove it from their list of dining options.

As always a great meal and wonderful service!! We also loved the vibe of the open windows.! The appetizers of egg rolls, guacamole, and the bang bang cauliflower are all so delicious!
I enjoyed the great service and the pleasant atmosphere at Hub 51. The restaurant also offers some excellent happy hour specials. I tried the Mongolian Beef from the menu, but it arrived overly oily, with a pool of grease at the bottom of the dish. Unfortunately, I had to send it back and order something else.
Hub 51 offers a fun and inviting atmosphere. We tried the Halibut tacos and Filet Mignon tacos from their menu, and both were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. They were absolutely delicious. The blueberry butter cake was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our date night here. Our server, Peter, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
