Gyros On The Spit - Chicago

Very few places make their own gyros. This place takes it to a whole new level. Dino has been setting the standard for years. Be sure to try the Greek potatoes with your gyros.

I've only been here for take out but the inside has a unique layout and seemed to be populated with old friends (the CPD). The gyros found here aren't your typical greased over diner style. This place seems to have their own unique recipe made in house. Kudos to that! I will say that because it's not your typical gyros you'll find the flavors of lamb more pronounced. If that's not your thing, that's ok, they offer all kinds of other Greek and Mediterranean food. The fries are tasty. The wait staff is incredibly friendly. Prices are reasonable.

Easily the best spot for Gyros in town! The home made gyro meat is very tasty and it's nicely complimented by a tasty home made tzatziki sauce. The location is very clean and has friendly staff. It has an outdoor patio area for dining and it has a parking lot as well. The only downside to this place is that once you have a gyro from here no other place will come close to satisfying your gryo craving.

Tastiest Freshest Gyros in Chicago! Not as salty as other Gyros places. Authentic Chicago Greek Home cooking! Everything is made to order. This place friendly, full of locals and is addictive! So Good!

Dino is doing a great job following in his father's foot steps. The food was amazing. I was flying home the next day and my family were excited that I was bring some of Dino gyros back. I was scared about wasting money buying the gyro and the airline not let me bring it on the plane. I spike to Dino and he placed the meat in a plastic bag and vacuumed sealed it. The restaurant it's self was clean and the staff were friendly. Definitely can't wait to eat there again next time I'm visiting.
