What User doesn't like about Francois Frankie:
Way overpriced food that is not that good. So far would only recommend the French Onion Soup. Bad habit of always trying to take the food away before you're finished. This needs to be addressed by management. View all feedback.
We went for the restaurant week lunch menu, and it was fantastic. My wife and I both had the French onion soup for an appetizer, and the salmon and Cobb salad for our entrees. We both had the apple tart for dessert. The food was delicious, and the portions were perfect for a three-course lunch. They also have a nice selection of wines and craft beers. While we did not sit at the rotating carousel-like bar, we did confirm that it does, in fact, rotate. At the height of the lunch rush it was a little loud, but overall an excellent experience. And, last but not least, the service was very attentive and fast.
That's a cool place. Carousel Bar is fun. The food is excellent. Love this place!
The restaurant was good, but nothing special. The food was best on average and the service was shortages. Not sure I'm back.
They could have been brief, but still managed to deliver a great experience. Food was very tasteful and was quiet in the morning for a great breakfast.
I came here on a Thursday around 1:30pm with 3 other coworkers for lunch. We were interested in trying out the restaurant week menu. From the pictures this place and food looked pretty decent however once we sat down to eat it was completely different. First of all the entire place was empty besides one other table seated right next to us. The waitress was not friendly nor attentive. When she first seated us, water spilled on the table from the guy coming around pouring it into our glasses and he nor she bothered to wipe it up. She rushed to take our orders without even giving us 30 seconds to look at the menu. We asked for a few more minutes and she didnt bother coming back for a good 15 minutes or so. When we all placed our (restaurant week) orders she brought out what was the most laughable food I've seen at a nice restaurant in awhile. Two of my coworkers ordered the brussel sprouts which came out as mini chips and were completely inedible. I got the french onion soup which tasted like an instant pack from the grocery store. The main courses came out and the portions were microscopic without exaggerating. Two coworkers ordered the salmon and myself and the other girl ordered the steak frites. Everyone immediately had the same expression on our faces. We were shocked how little food was given. I asked the waitress about it and she said it was smaller portions for the restaurant week menus. That is fine however this wasnt smaller it was tiny. My steak and the Salmon was about half the size of my palm. I will say the fries were good. Finally, it took forever to get dessert out to us even though we were the only ones now left in the restaurant. Small slivers of chocolate mousse cake. It looked like it would at least taste good.....WRONG. It was so dry that we all had to gulp water in order for it to even be swallowed. The waitress didn' seem to want to bother with us and ask how our food was or anything. She brought the check and left. TERRIBLE
