This pub offers an outstanding selection of beers, delicious food, exceptional service, and convenient hours. What more could you possibly want?
The food and drinks were excellent. This is an ideal spot to catch a game while enjoying some drinks and a nice meal.
Great place for Football fans! All the games were on, and the place was filled with fans having a great time. A raucous good time. The Impossible burger with fries was delicious. My friends loved the Shrimp Po'boys. Great friendly service too.
Awesome sandwiches, awesome bartenders, the owner hangs out and talks with the patrons, fun place to drink, eat and watch.
Very good loaded fries. They were a little too salty with the pulled pork and gravy. I would get them again w/o salt on the fries.
**First Draft: A Mixed Bag of Game Day Experience** First Draft offers a lively atmosphere ideal for sports fans, boasting numerous TVs and an impressive beer selection. While some diners rave about standout dishes like sweet potato fries and creatively crafted sandwiches, others report inconsistent service, with complaints of staff being dismissive or overwhelmed during busy times. Many patrons appreciate the friendly vibe, though experience can vary significantly. Despite some dishes missing the mark, like burnt Brussels sprouts or poorly-made cocktails, the restaurant remains a solid choice for a casual night out, particularly for game day gatherings. Overall, expect a blend of good food and service challenges.

The burgers here were incredible, with top notch drinks and services. Came here instead of Taste of Chicago, and it was so worth it!
This classic pub features a wide selection of beers, but it's the food that truly makes an impression. The quality and ingredients are outstanding on the regular menu. The cheese pizzabrot, paired with the homemade marinara sauce, absolutely wowed my taste buds—in a good way! The vegan hero, which combines mushrooms and plantains, was one of the most inventive sandwiches I've ever had. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience!
I had my first visit to a restaurant in Chicago while coming from the Boston area. It was right before the Bears' Thursday night game, so the place was quite busy. The service was decent, even though there was only one waitress handling the entire area. I tried the burger, wings, and beer—all of which were good, but the highlight was definitely the sweet potato fries. They were light, airy, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. If you're a fan of sweet potato fries, this place is fantastic—possibly the best I've ever had!
What I love SO much about this place is that they seem to accommodate everyone. I (local) came after my cable went off and still wanted to see the end of the Sky game. Came to find a huge trade show. I found a table in the corner by the game, they took over their half of the bar, everyone was happy. Impressive. I think the owner even came in as a reinforcement... just clear how invested they are in the place/ But, for the locals... Great Printers Row centric beer list and the best (dangerous) smoked bbq poutine. You may eat and drink more here than you intended, but you will NOT regret it. .
This Gem was not even on my list but I am so glad we came across it. This was one of only two 5-Star restaurants for me on my trip. The selections of beer are top notch and can't wait to go back to try more. Most importantly the food was amazing. I pretzel bites were perfect texture, temperature and had great dipping sauces. A pimento cheese and sweet mustard. The pulled pork sandwich was great as well as the red velvet pie we had for dessert. But the best think by was was the sweet potato fries. I love sweet potato fries and have had them in different states and on different continents and these are my new favorite. This place I would highly recommend and will return to when I make it back to Chicago. Thanks First Draft.!!!

We were in search of a dog-friendly patio, and this place exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful with our pups, providing them with water and treats. The food and beer were fantastic as well. I enjoyed the chicken smash sandwich accompanied by sweet potato fries and a hazy IPA. After dinner, we took a brief walk to the D’Angelo dog park, which is a true grass dog park in the city! Both our dogs and we had a five-star evening. As for vegetarian options, my friend ordered the vegan hero, and they even made the Brussels sprouts side vegan for him.
Plenty of different beers and they offer beer flights for those that want to try a variety of beers. I thought the KBS Hazelnut beer was the best! The food portions were generous. Service was good without being in your face all the time. The reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I thought the chicken I ordered and the chicken strips my son ordered were over cooked but everything else was great.Kid friendliness: Kids menu chicken strips and giant cheese quesadilla
Great food! Huge selection of craft beers! The service was great! Very friendly and accommodating to us. Would definitely recommend it!Food: 5/5
Friendly neighborhood bar with 55 tap handles and the usual selection of canned lite beers. Reasonable selection of well-prepared food. Over a dozen flat screen TVs mainly devoted to sports. Good service.Food: 4/5

I absolutely love this place! Chevy was fantastic and went above and beyond to find me a beer that I would enjoy. I highly recommend stopping by for a beer and, of course, some pizza!
We had a wonderful experience there! The staff was extremely friendly, and our waitress was outstanding. If you get the chance, you must try the pork sickles—they were amazing! There were also plenty of great beer options on tap.
This is a great bar with many TVs for watching sports. They have an impressive selection of 65 beer taps, including a good variety from Three Floyd's. The menu offers plenty of options to choose from. The bartender, Danny, was friendly and quick to provide refills. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out.
AMAZING. Love this bar. Probably my favorite bar, that I've been to in Chicago. Lots of tv, perfect fo game nights. I love that there is only 1 page for food and then the rest of the menu is amazing beers and cocktails. Also, that one page of food is really good. Honestly I could eat that beer cheese soup everyday. And the Fried Chicaken sandsich is to die for. I've been here about 4 times and everytime its been great.
Must try the Jugo De Bombilla if you like sour beer. The German food is the best I've had in the U.S., too. Loved this place! If I lived in Chicago, I'd be there all the time!
