What User doesn't like about Firewater Saloon Mount Greenwood:
I have come here 7 or 8 times...usually just for the music which is hit or miss) and drinks, which are reasonable. The service however is another thing. I have Never been in a bar that takes so long to be served a drink! Last night was the last straw. I ordered a beer from a waitress who looked about 16 by the way). 15 minutes went by and nothing. She even looked at me several times. I wanted to stay, but I finally w... View all feedback.
I pass by this place frequently, and it always seems busy, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a Bavarian pretzel, a side of mac and cheese, and some apple pie egg rolls. Unfortunately, the cheese sauce tasted like a basic roux with no cheese flavor at all—actually, it had no flavor whatsoever. The pretzel was hard, and the apples in the egg roll were bland and dry, plus there was no caramel sauce as promised. To top it off, my ice cream had melted because it had been left out on the table instead of being kept refrigerated when I arrived.
Bartender was extremely rude I asked for a pineapple margarita n ended up w a regular n when I told her it was wrong her lovely response was so u see how busy I am. Not the answer u give a paying customer. Plus Then my gf ordered food n It took almost an hr to get to the table and it was wrong.
Food was on point, drinks were amazing, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I went here to see bottoms up play but would definitely go back in a heart beat.

Unfortunately, I’d describe our first visit as overpriced and lacking in execution. During our time there, only two tables were occupied, so service was not an issue. However, I had to send my drink back due to a strange and unpleasant taste, which was disappointing. The $12 tacos featured briny, chewy steak without any sauce, making them feel underwhelming. My wife’s sandwich was served on a slightly stale bun, which crumbled apart, making it more suitable for a spoon than for eating by hand. That was enough to leave us dissatisfied. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place and I am very much aware of how hard-hit the hospitality industry has been recently. As I travel, I see firsthand the struggles caused by labor shortages, supply chain issues, and customers slowly returning after spending more time at home. It's undoubtedly tough. I suggest checking out the bar and the music events, as many people rave about them. Perhaps it's best to give the kitchen some time to find its footing again.
