The woman at the front counter was incredibly friendly, which convinced me to try an Italian ice, and it was amazing! I chose the strawberry flavor, and it was packed with real strawberry pieces—definitely tasted homemade. Absolutely delicious! And the rib tips? Wow! They were so meaty and generous in size—just look at these beauties! I rate this a perfect 10/10. I go to school just down the street, and I've definite... View all feedback.

It's been years since I last visited this restaurant, and I found the food to be just average. While I won’t be returning for the meals, I do look forward to coming back in the summer for some Italian ice. View all feedback.

Whenever I visit this town, I always make sure to have a tuna melt. It's so good that I feel like hugging the person who makes them! Ha! Delicious.

The dining area is still not open, which feels like a significant waste of space. The portions we received were quite large, but the food was just okay, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The sauce is served in a cup for you to pour on the barbecue, but the barbecue itself looked old and dry because of it.

The food was really good and fairly priced. They had good customer service and it didn't take long. It was a nice day so we sat at the benches outside. I would definitely recommend it.
Best place in the city for a quick affordable Chicago style lunch/dinner. I got the 2 hotdog special and it was honestly too much food for me so I saved some for lunch the next day. Wonderfully fresh and quick with polite service.
We stopped by on our way home to Michigan. My husband, who is from Chicago and knows the local food scene well, immediately knew where to take me when I asked for a burger. However, after looking at the menu, I decided to try the brisket sandwich instead. It was honestly THE BEST SANDWICH I’VE EVER HAD! I really wish we lived closer so I could enjoy it more often. I’m already thinking about when we can return to Chicago just to have another one… it was that amazing!

Great Italian and American foods at amazingly low prices. Highly recommend their buffalo chicken sandwich. And their hotdogs fries combo.
Meh... I ordered the great top, and the sauce was good. It seemed like shredded pork with a few added ingredients. I also tried the Italian ice cream, which was tasty, but they don’t offer table service charges.
The lady at the counter was so friendly that I ended up buying an Italian ice cream and some fries. The strawberry flavor definitely tasted like real strawberry—I think it was homemade. Absolutely amazing! And the rib tips—oh my god, they were so meaty and big, just beautiful! 10/10. I go to the school right down the street and have already found my new favorite spot. I'll definitely be back.
