El Rey Del Taco Y Del Burrito - Chicago

I dined in and waited almost an hour and 30 min for my food and it wasn’t busy at ALL. Ordered a torta to go for my daughter who’s allergic to tomatoes I told them I did not want the tomatoes and they still put them in, I then called to tell them that they messed up my order and told me I couldn’t get store credit for my situation what really bothers me is that even on the recipe it says NO TOMATE. I still ended up waiting an extra hour for my torta to go

Went and got some chilaquiles, meat was good and chilaqulies themselvers were alright but a couple bites in and I found a long black hair under my chilaquiles, Gave the plate back to the waiter and when I paid my bill they did not want to discount the plate from my bill because the server said her hair was blonde. I told them to check the cameras so they can see me pulling a long hair from inside my chilaquiles but they refused. Have been a loyal customer for years but after this experience I am definitely not coming back. Since they would not discount it off my bill I had them make me another one and gave it to a homeless man downtown because I didn’t trust them to make it again

This place used to be my favorite place to get take out from, now the food is stale, flavorless, and the kitchen took over 35 minutes to get one quesadilla with barely any cheese in it. The service was terrible, had 4 different waitresses ask us the same questions... They kept on messing up peoples order and weren't polite about it. The ambiance is very boring and almost dead and miserable. No music and the place smelled like wet towels and onions. I wish it wasn't so bad. Administration/ owner needs to do something about how bad this place is getting. Ridiculous. Period.

This is like the 3rd or 4th time I order but first time they put old/bad cilantro on my food.Now, how you going to sell or put that on the food and send it out??The presentation of the food is important.How a restaurant ok with this?I doubt that in the picture you can notice it but the Cilantro is brown/dark, simply old.Hopefully next time they give more importance to this.El cocinero tiene que ver que esta mandado la comida bien.. tiene que importarle.!

Food was delicious, perfect for a quick dine in. The one thing I was highly disappointed with was they don't sell alcoholic beverages. When I searched the the restaurant on Google the first image that comes out it's a picture of a bar which is very misleading.Food: 5/5
