The thieves held guns to the heads of the bartender and custo... read more This restaurant review is about a 100-year-old bar that was recently robbed on September 17, 2023. The thieves held guns to the heads of the bartender and customers, robbing about 10 people inside. Unfortunately, no one has been apprehended yet. It is a shame that this happened to a bar that has been open since the Prohibition era in 1923. Despite this incident, I would still love to pay a visit to this historic establishment.

It’s cash only, but it’s super fun atmosphere that is off the beaten path in a neighborhood. Drinks are decent at a good price and has pool! Highly recommend if you’re in the river west area or the Eckhart park area.
