Great staff. The Chef-Owner came from closed Sabatino's. Only thing missing is the tacky total Chicago decor of Sabatino's. Of course, it is the 21st Century!! Can't have everything! BYOB still OK. They just got their liquor license.

Our server was running a little behind as he was supporting a large table (which was no issue for us as we were still browsing the menu). They brought out an entire (small) loaf of bread. The other staff was consistently checking on us, filling our water, clearing plates, one brought an appetizer free of charge because of our ?wait?. Our server was so lovely he was attentive and thoughtful. The food was divine we ordered the tortellini and seafood

The food was amazing I asked for containers to go just to realize that I forgot my food when I got home. I will be coming here often. They are BYOB.

I heard the Sabatino’s cooks had migrated here and I knew it was going to be something special. Portions are great! Big enough to splitwith the team. Five stars ?????????? Service, atmosphere and food of course. Since we arrived to Avvio’s the staff was very friendly, the menu is very impressive and easy to navigate we order sangrias and while we were reading the menu the chef send us a complementary pizzabread which was delicious, we ordered shrimp dejonge, shrimp Enzo and richard’s special and for dessert we had cannolieverything was so tasty and big portions. The head chef Joel came out to the dinning room to interact with his customers amdluckily we had the opportunity to talk to him. This is definitely the best Italian restaurant I have been in Chicago . We willdefinitely coming back.
