I HAD to break my COVID diet and eat here. Everytime I eat here they get better and better! The service gets quicker and quicker!! The server gets nicer and nicer!!! My favorites are of course the WORLD famous cheeseburgers and root beer. Can't get any more American than that. The menu is simple which I appreciate. The space is tight, the wait is long, the noise level is pretty loud but the food is pretty fabulous.
Aside from a few choice places that I knew wanted to go to, I had a pretty blank slate for my food tour of Chicago.
Been here 3 times. I liked the consistency. My favorite thing here is the hash with duck heart gravy. The burger is good, fries are ok but very salty....
