After trying one of the many fantastic Greek restaurants, make sure to visit this bakery for dessert. It's always a wonderful stop whenever we’re in Greektown. Our favorites include the mango dessert, which I believe is a type of cake, and the fruit tart. View all feedback.
What Vince P dislikes about Artopolis:
The gyros were dry and burned, and the soup was almost cold. The water was warmer than the soup, and for $40, that's unacceptable. It seems there’s no care for food coming from that kitchen. View all feedback.

Friendly and attentive staff! I was taking a while picking one dessert since they all looked delicious and they didn’t rush me at all. Worth checking out for both locals and tourists!
Very disappointed about this tiramisu!! I visted the store tonight and bought this new style tiramisu. As a customer who has been patronizing for 8 years, I am very dissatisfied with this tiramisu and hope for new improvements.Thank you
The bakes are wonderful and the staff is super attentive. I made a real mess spilling my latte, they promptly gave me another one. The artopita I ordered took longer than expected to be ready, and still they made up to it by giving me a dessert. Which btw, was AMAZING! I recommend!
A Friend got me chocolate mousse cake for my birthday. OMG! the best thing ever. Melts in the mouth. Tastes so good, heard their coffee is good too. Will visit soon
This place unfortunately did take some hits for quality during COVID. I used to come regularly around 2018—2019 and recently went back. Some items taste different and didn’t see any of the og chefs (who were so nice! . Only giving three stars because dessert is still great. I wouldn’t come here for a meal but just dessert.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this place. Pleasantly inviting. Lots of options. Excellent pastries and great coffee. A must try, the strawberry raspberry (I can't remember the exact name.
Artopolis Bakery is a fantastic place for anyone in search of delicious baked goods and desserts. I highly recommend it for those who want tasty treats and a serene atmosphere for studying. The service is top-notch, the staff is friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. Thank you, Artopolis!
I was genuinely impressed by the espressos; I enjoyed the Freddo Espresso while my wife tried the Freddo Cappuccino. The food was outstanding as well; I had a beef and lamb gyro, and my wife chose the Artos Caprese sandwich, complemented by a Greek salad. We also shared a delicious berry cheesecake for dessert. Each portion was generous, and I really loved the restaurant's decor. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. This restaurant is definitely a must-visit in Greektown!
What a delightful little café in Greektown! We sampled the Greek coffee and a few desserts, and they were absolutely amazing! The only downside was that the staff at the checkout could be a bit more attentive and less distracted when customers are present. Other than that, the café is well-kept, and the food is outstanding.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant. I will definitely be returning!
It was a nice coffee place right in the marathon route ..so very convenient for spectators to grab their cuppa and wait for their loved ones ...the morning was a bit chilly ...and I got myself coffee as well as made friends with other customers who had come to cheer friends ....the bakery is very spacious and has a wide selection of coffees .....
You definitely need to check out this restaurant for their incredible artopitas! It's hard to find savory pastries in Chicago, but this place really stands out. They have a wide selection of artopitas, including spanakopita, cheese, chicken, and more. The puff pastry is wonderfully flaky, and the fillings are absolutely delicious. Just a quick note: once they sell out, they're gone for the day! They also serve fantastic avgolemono soup, filling meals, cakes, and coffee. Plus, the atmosphere inside is charming.

A cozy, home-y cafe experience. Friendly staff, festive decorations, and plenty of tables to choose from to get some work done while sipping on a latte. Highly recommend!

Super impressed with espressos (I had the Freddo Espresso, my wife had the Freddo Cappuccino), food (I had a beef and lamb gyro, my wife had the Artos Caprese sandwich and a Greek Salad), and baking (we shared the berry cheesecake). All the portions were generous. Loved the decor and the staff were friendly. So worth the trip to Greektown!
Beyond expectations. Spacious two-level seating and semi-outdoor patio seating with three cases of mini cakes, tarts, and baklava. Also another counter for hot beverages. Tried out the dark chocolate mousse cake and the raspberry chocolate mousse cake. Both were rich, beautiful, and sublime. Friendly service. They were happy to explain items in the case and asked if I needed utensils. One of the best fine dessert places I've experienced to date!
This was my second visit to Artopolis, a charming little café that pleasantly surprised me. I initially thought it was solely a pastry and coffee spot, but their menu also includes lunch options! The cozy atmosphere is perfect for coffee enthusiasts. You place your order at the counter when ready, pick up your drinks at the bar, and the staff brings your food directly to your table. I tried the matcha latte and the portobello sandwich, along with a flavorful white bean soup in tomato broth. Everything was delicious, especially the well-seasoned, rich soup. I’m already looking forward to returning and trying some of the tempting pastries displayed at the front.

I tried the walnut baklava roll, kataifi, and galactoboureko. Out of the three desserts, I preferred the baklava and kataifi the most.
Picture a charming café adorned with walls of artisanal bread and a display counter brimming with delightful Greek pastries.
