Excellent breakfast spot not too far from Wrigley Field. We enjoyed 2 days of breakfast while staying at the city suites hotel a couple of doors down the street. The service was fast and very friendly. We tried the Swedish pancakes which were very good and they really know ho to do poached eggs. The cinnamon rolls and baked goods look fantastic and many people were enjoying them.Will definitely return if in the Chicago area again.

Wow, this was an amazing breakfast. I had the Swedish sampler, heavenly. Everyone enjoyed their meal and beverage. Great waiting staff. Lovely experience.

Service was phenomenal, would come back for that alone! We tried the cinnamon rolls at the request of our concierge. Came out of the oven piping hot so be careful. They come in twos even if you order 1 order. Flavor was on point and it comes in its own bath of icing. Would have given it 5 stars but it’s hard to beat a Corner Cafe in Riverside, MO cinnamon roll! Ambience was stellar, it’s like eating at your grandmas place but in Chicago. Going to tell the world about this place. Wish I would have had breakfast here!

This place came highly recommended to me and I couldn’t wait to try their cinnamon rolls everyone was telling me about. To my disappointment the rolls I received weren’t very good. They had very little cinnamon, barley and sugar glaze and seemed to be old. They didn’t look like they came from a batch that was in the display case.The breakfast wrap was okay. Ordered a sausage with bacon and cheese then added bacon. The sausage didn’t have much flavor, the bacon was hard to find, and the eggs were over seasoned. The hash browns I ordered came in the form of potatoes and seasoned with who knows what.

Great food, great service. They have a sampler plate so it’s very friendly to first timers that are not sure what they want. The sausage tastes funny (taste like celery) but everything else are delicious. You can choose 2 sides with it so it’s gonna be a lot of food. The cinnamon rolls are tasty (but the sugar glaze is very sweet so take it easy on those). They serve the sides before the plate so don’t finish the sides right away. Otherwise, you’ll be super full when you finish the entree.
