Limited liquor selection and so overpriced! Buy a bottle at a liquor store on your way into downtown.

Perfect stop for a refreshing Aperol spritz on the rooftop patio, overlooking the river. Perfect weather on this Chicago trip made it even better! Nice place inside and out. I cannot vouch for the food, but good drinks and nice atmosphere.

The credit card system was down during my visit. It's surprising that a multi-million dollar resort couldn't bring in a technician to resolve the issue. It was quite embarrassing when we were told that since we weren't staying at the resort and didn't have cash, we would have to leave. We ended up walking out. Drinks were $17 each, and yet they couldn't find someone to reset the POS system?

320 River Bar has a lovely ambiance by the river, but I was a bit let down that the bar doesn’t provide a direct view of the water. I was looking forward to enjoying an egg white whiskey sour, which I believed would be a standard cocktail, but they were unable to make it. On a positive note, the bartender was friendly and efficient. The menu prices were somewhat surprising, especially the $17 charge for a Jim Beam Old Fashioned. The beer selection was decent, but having a greater variety would enhance the overall experience. Despite these drawbacks, the welcoming atmosphere and prompt service make it a nice spot for a casual drink.
