I'm disappointed that I didn't have the same experience as the other reviewers. I bought a cake for my husband's birthday. It was tasteless and the consistency was out. It tasted like flour and sugar, no vanilla or butter taste at all. I had boxcake that was more tasteful. I guess it's for those with simpler palates. View all feedback.
Family favorite! We bought birthday cakes for more than 40 years! Your recipes were consistent! Our family birthday cake is the white cake with fresh strawberry filling! Friendly staff! Always accommodating!

Found this bakery in a last minute act of desperation to get 56 giant cookies for a class party because all the big box bakeries were sold out. The cases were full of drool-inducing pastries and gorgeous, iced gingerbread men and Christmas trees. I wish I had taken a picture of the cookies but you'll have to go there and see for yourself! In addition to having exactly what I needed I was able to place a very last-minute order for a custom cake. The baker did an amazing job, my brother loved his cake and it tasted soooo good! Moist, rich and delicious! Everyone there was so sweet helpful, just great service!
I grew up on Pearson's bakery. They provide great customer service. Never too busy. There danishes, cookies, and cakes are always fresh. You're greeted when you come in and the place is very clean. I love Pearson's bakery in Chicago Heights. Bought my father's atomic cake there and it was delicious too.
