Stopped in here on the way back from a day tour to St Moritz and was very impressed with the quality of food and service. They have a very open dining area with plenty of windows and the pizza we ordered was very fresh and tasty. Great option for anyone passing through needing to get a quick but tasty meal. What Susan K doesn't like about Moreschi Mario:
Our bus tour stopped here on the way back from St. Moritz. The place is large and has samples of their food. They have sandwiches, pizza, cakes, and gelato. We only tried the gelato which was okay. View all feedback.
Stopped to ask information and just had coffee so i can 't express any opinion on the quality of what they serve... the place looks like a typical italian autogrill (the restaurants-gas station-service area you find along the highways and the restaurant section reminded me of the cafeteria at my Hamilton high school but as i said i didn 't eat anything so i can only express the sensation i got from the place... there was a bus of foreign tourists there while i was there so it took me a good 15 minutes to get a coffee (very good one i must say and in the meanwhile i gave a glance at the shop-part of the place and prices seemed a bit high on the specialties of the area (i love good bresaola and i know how much it should cost... Overall, the place gives me the idea of aiming at quantity rather than quality ...
Moreschi appears to be a chain of travel stops dotted along a number of Italian roads. as mentioned in the header, this definitely the nicest I've seen, as service stations go. they do seem to vary in size and quality though. we stopped here on the way back to Milan from St Moritz. we'd actually stopped at another, much smaller one, with less on offer around Gera Lario. that one not great for toilet facilities either. this place, however, was big and bright with a whole host of food both sweet and savoury as well as plenty of drinks hot and cold. all you'd expect for the weary traveller... including good toilet facilities. as well as the food court section there was also a shop section. a wide variety off sweets, cakes and biscuits etc more wrapped to be taken away as presents or souvenirs. a very nice place to have a break after a few hours on the road.
While going to St Moritz from Florence the bus stops here for a refreshment. The place is big, nice and clean. service is quick and the prices are within limits.
