there were many buffet items to choose, but I ordered the picture menu around the deck pro tipp: do not go half an hour before closing if there are only 2 options left. my khao soi saw and tasted absolutely nothing like a khao soi. it had instant noodles instead of rice noodles and the sose was like a rich fake bark stew, and fully fake meat. if they add tomato, it would have been bolognese. it didn't taste bad, it w... What User doesn't like about Oasis Vegetaurant:
as far as I can say that everything is vegan. they speak ok English and have many different vegan items to buy as well as packaged vegan meat, soy pieces, etc. . the portions are ok size, the cost well 50baht for a plate ordered from the wall. it took some time to get the food, but they can just order from the buffet. we were really happy to find this, as apparently the loads of vegan places closed because of kovid. We had pad thai and it was cheap and delicious and freshly cooked for us.
The place is next to the night market/bus station and offers buffet style food. For rice and 3 items you pay 65 baht. I took just some noodles as it was already closing time. The noodles were good just too spicy.
Lovely array of food just wish it was warmed up. Friendly host
Location near the bus station, which is super nice. Also a good as an alternative to the night market there, which has (apart from some ice cream) no vegan food that I can remember. Food at this place is decent, not great.
For people new to kin jay buffet, a warning, if it’s red or bright yellow it will be Spicy. Anyway, this place was good, the lady who help us was very nice. It’s right next to the bus station so if you are leaving town give yourself a little extra time to give this place a try.
