Jatujak Gallery - Chiang Rai

Jatujak was fantastic. Friendly and warm staff, this place is above the rest. While we enjoyed the great and welcoming atmosphere, which really made us smile, the food was. Absolutely delicious and super affordable. One of the things I didn't see many in Thai restaurants I used at home is a well-designed bathroom. This may seem strange, but if a place pays attention to small things and does them well, almost always their attention to detail on the bigger things automatically. My wife and I would probably eat again here.

Definitely a tourist restaurant, but the quality and taste of the food was just right. It was good about every Baht spent here. Sa tay was beautiful (we loved the homemade peanut sauce again), but the hot for me was the Tom Yum roasted rice... wow! Also the jagged chicken dish was good. Easy on the sweet side, but right. Enjoy!

Best restaurant in Chiang Rai, period. Ate there twice during our trip. Mid-Range Restaurant, centrally located, most beautiful staff, excellent food. Much better quality than the night market. Great atmosphere. Absolutely come back.

We really enjoyed this place. The pad Thai was very good, the ambience and the decoration is really nice, quiet and chilled. Prices are affordable considering quality. But I would make a special comment about the service, there are many waiters and they are very attentive and always smile. They were very fast to take our order and bring the food. I was often in Thailand and this service was the best we had. Very recommended.

Highly recommended. The food was prepared with care, and the staff is friendly. A haven in the neighbourhood for those wanting a respite from the spicy food.
