Route 1 Grill - Chiang Mai

Very clean, with free Wi-Fi and bathroom inside. Well spoken English hostess who was very accommodating. Great Aussie Burger for Thai food. It is a tad expensive, but you get what you pay so it is worth it. We had a child with us and they could give us half of the pasta for half the price we thought was brilliant.

An excellent bar and grill tucked away on the eastern side of Chiangmai center. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, perfectly cooked. This is a family run grill, a blend of American and Thai. The staff and proprietor very welcoming and friendly. Fully recommend place to eat and relax. For those so inclined, Fox Sports showing on the TV.

Very nice American restaurant in Chiangmai the Long island tea was absolutely perfect and the taste was spot on. The Cesar salad was delicious but a warning to people that are particular the creamy dressing that was put on was not a Cesar salad dressing. That being said I enjoyed the salad was fresh crispy and delicious. Also the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken was delicious but the fettuccine sauce again tasted good but was not cheesy and creamy as you would expect in America. The Thais have a lot of trouble with cheese. I did not enjoy my perfect margarita. It was in a proper glass with beautiful salted rim I suspect the tequila just wasn’t tequila LOL but it was drinkable. Two cocktails salad and an entrée for 530 bought $16.50 I thought was reasonable. I will return many things on the menu look like I would like to try

Fish and chips were perfect! I love this place. Appropriate prices (for my modest budget) and over the road from Chiang Mai station. I want to eat here again when I go home from this trip.

The food is delicious and fresh. I enjoyed what I ordered and my friends shaved about the dishes they had. I'll try other dishes again soon! Tea is a wonderful host, so helpful and fun to know. Close to the train station and numerous parking available.
