we were in four seasons chiang mai and on the last day of our stay we had dinner in the khao restaurant-one of the hotel restaurant, which concentrated on Thai food. we enjoy the meal, drink and service. everything is perfect. will definitely return to the hotel and restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Khao By Four Seasons:
We stopped by for an afternoon tea. You would think they would give you a variety of teas to try. But you had to just pick one. The tea had no flavor so I asked them for a cappuccino instead and it was lukewarm and weak. The tables need to be spaced further apart they felt too close together in light of Covid. Service was very good however. The dessert presentation was very good. View all feedback.
We decided to celebratey wife's birthday this year with Char. A bit out of the way for us but definitely worth the drive. From the moment we arrived everyone was top notch. Friendly and working hard to assure that we enjoyed our meal. The food was tasty, plated very good and our table overlooked the water. A nice cool breeze added to our evening. We will for sure come again.
We book a table as a part of our Honey Moon in Thailand. Great restaurant located outside the city centre og Chaing Mai (approx. 45min). Fantastic atmosphere very suited for special occasion or date. Fantastic location near the jungle of Chiang Mai. Food was fantastic I imagine the only reason the restaurant is not mentioned in the 2020 Michelin Guide for Chiang Mai is the late 2019 opening of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this for a couple that like a wagyu ribeye or steak tartare and don’t mind an Instagram friendly desert... Also consider to grab a drink in the bar after the dinner. Prices are high compared to other local places, but still worth it.
Not enough food for what you are paying. This place is the Thai version of steakhouse but does not deliver. Appetizers were weak... the cauliflower was served raw not cooked /grilled .... the pork “ribs” was literally just one rib and mostly fat... The bread could have been so much better if served warmer . And rather than just serving the bread with a slab of butter maybe something more interesting... olive oil dipping sauce with Thai spices.. And then came the entree ... again portions just too small ... we wanted to avoid eating a lot of bread and dessert but were left hungry by the end of the meal ... This restaurant is catering to well travelled guests from all over the world and could be spectacular given the setting and absolutely lovely Thai people... It just needs the chef to experience restaurants elsewhere in the world to update the finished product
Yes wonderful environment and service. I like the atmosphere there. Very enjoyable lunch
The best meal we had in Chiangmai. We were disappointed with the food around the city, however Khao managed to live to our expectations and did not disappoint. We explained to the staff that some of us were not able to eat spicy, while others preferred spicy but we wanted to share dishes. They were more than happy to offer providing us spice commandments on the side. They also served the egg on the side to the chicken to take care of our one pescatarian guest. The food was not only delicious but the presentation was amazing. As we preferred to sit outside for the view, the staff kindly reminded us that it could get very hot and immediately took out fans and the umbrella to ensure we would still have a pleasant time outside. Definitely highly recommending this restaurant for those visiting Chiangmai, and would be a place for me to revisit!
