Uncle Charlie's Package Liquor, Grill Tavern

This place hasn't seen any updates in over ten years. Is it trying to breathe new life into its concept, or is it just sticking to the old ways? The carpets are in dire need of a good cleaning. The interior design feels like it was created by someone with a chaotic vision, as if they were trying to drown out any ideas that don't align with their view.

After waiting for 15 minutes, I went inside to find a waitress. A few more minutes passed before someone finally came out, which was surprising considering it was after peak hours around 7:45 PM. When we requested menus, the server pulled one from a dirty table that had been used by someone else. The tables weren’t even set up properly! After deciding what to order, I went to wash my hands and found the sink clogged with vomit. The facility must have been poorly maintained since the sink design didn’t even allow for comfortable access. To make matters worse, the door opened inward without a foot ledge, and there was nowhere accessible to dispose of a used napkin. When our drinks arrived at the table, one of them didn’t have ice while the other did. We had asked for a refill but didn’t mention ice again, which led to confusion. However, the food did arrive promptly and was quite good, particularly the garlic bread. At the end of our meal, the waitress brought the check and attempted to clear our plates without asking if we were finished. I had to hold my plate down to prevent her from taking it away. Even after I pushed my empty plate to the edge of the table with my napkin on top, she still left it there. Overall, the cleanliness was subpar, the service was lacking, and while there were mainly sandwiches on the menu, the meals we had were enjoyable.

I would have given this restaurant a five-star rating, but there were a few issues with our order. We ordered two Double Cheeseburgers and onion rings for $8.50. Unfortunately, we only received eight onion rings, and most of them were small. We also requested avocado on both burgers, but it didn’t come with either one. When I called to address the issue, the staff member acknowledged that they had forgotten to include the avocado in our order. Additionally, the fries tasted old, as if the grease hadn't been fresh. However, the burger itself was quite good.

The waitress wasn't really friendly what so ever ? the people that were coming in there to eat, were very friendly ? We had a very nice elderly lady whom lived there in Cheyenne, she was just super sweet to us. Her daughter was the bartender name Pam. The waitresses they had never smiled ?, we had told them that our sugar, was super hard, nothing wasn't coming out of the packages, our waitress ignored us on several occasions. The person that I was with from work, had to just finally get up, get us our sugars that weren't hard!!! Pam's Mother was showing us something of their work they do, it's just absolutely beautiful. I had requested it if they had started up again to, please let me know, so I could purchase something from them for a family member. I really enjoyed ? talking to Ms. Marie, she was a beautiful Blessing ????? She was telling me about how she got really sick 3 different times, all 3 times were different, difficult times for her ? to come back around, ? ,well so finally she finally got out of the hospital, recovered Thank The Lord Jesus ????????, so she went back up to hospital gave all of them a gift ? each for taking such amazing care ?? of Ms. Marie. ?????? I said that's just wonderful Dear. I gave her a hug she well have a good Evening safe trip home, I said Thank You ?????. I seen her inside her purse, thinking about her looking for her keys ?, so she can go home I hear her daughter say, you leaving mo., no not yet. She finds what she is looking for she brings over 2 little mini key ? ?? little screwdrivers ?, says I'm blessing you with these, because this is something I do. She came back with her little red tablet with all her photos ? on their, of her her daughters work. She's a very sweet lady ????? ????????

Good food, great prices, friendly attentive staff, not too crowded with plenty of spacing if you are practicing social distancing, recommended for lunch.
