Mistequa Cafe - Chewelah
Mistequa Cafe
Description
Set beside hiking and ski country, this compact hotel-casino pairs clean, quiet rooms, comfy mattresses and friendly staff with an easy walk or shuttle to a lively casino and on-site restaurants. Diners praise the food and reasonable prices though dinner selections—especially steaks—can be limited and inconsistently cooked. Several guests report spotty casino service, slow systems and disappointing slot payouts; occasional staff rudeness has also been noted. Best for travelers seeking value, events or outdoor access; gamble with tempered expectations.

Staff was amazing! Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would mention is there is only a shower. I am in need of a cane and the shower stall is very large however it does not have handrails at all and no non slip mat to use so showering was a bit tricky. I look forward to staying there again!
Really poor first experience. I went up to the casino with a friend on a Friday and was excited as this was my first time going. After a long drive through a blizzard we arrived to the quaint establishment. After inserting my sun club card the screen showed I had no free play which was really odd to me. I play each week with my card and have FreePlay 2 times a week through sun club which I normally play at Spokane Tribe casino. I went up to staff and asked why my free play wasn’t showing up and they explained to me that even though their Casino and Spokane tribe casino both use the sun club system for FreePlay, I couldn’t use my FreePlay at their establishment which makes absolute zero sense and I would have to go to Spokane Tribe Casino to use it. I understand that these are 2 different casinos but it’s really odd that I couldn’t use my FreePlay there as I mentioned again that they both are part of the sun club. So than I asked well since they are apparently completely different establishments, could I then start a new membership with them and get a first time reward play? The staff told me no because they are part of the sun club like Spokane Tribe casino. Long story short, it was a really disappointing trek there and I felt like I was really getting scammed. On a side note, the casino is very clean and the spread they have is quite a beautiful place.
Terrible hotel and casino. You can hear people in the rooms next to you, way overpriced, unfriendly, food was cold and slots NEVER pay! Keep driving past! Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 2
I am sorry, We love coming here for a quick late-night bite to eat. Service: 4 Location: 4
I just recently visited your casino on our way home from work this afternoon and it has been my 8th time at your casino. I made a comment to a co-worker that this casino must have its slots set at the maximum federal allowance for gaming in washington because I have never won anything more than a $21 bonus in the 8 times I 've been here and 2 employees changing out the cash machine starting laughing amongst each other than said loudly then don 't come to our casino . I felt like I pissed someone off because I got the stare down as I left. Definitely felt like that was far beyond professional. I 'm sure u see people getting pissed off all the time but to mock them, laugh at them and make a joke about it is beyond me??? Unfortunately i will probably just keep driving next time I pass your establishment.
