They are completely unreliable — dangerous people who cannot tell what ingredients they are putting on a plate. I called before going, explaining that I am coeliac and what I could not eat, specifically asking about cross-contamination and so on. I was assured that they do not use gluten and that they understood the issue. When I arrived, I spoke again with the owner and again with the man taking the orders. For the dishes they told me did not contain gluten, I also asked further specific questions to make sure. Among other things, I asked about soy sauce, explicitly pointing out that it contains gluten. Despite being reassured over and over again, when the waiter brought the dish, I noticed a colour that looked like soy sauce and asked him whether it contained any. His answer was: “No.” I started eating, and halfway through the dish they told us — after trying to add soy sauce to another dish of mine !!! — that the dish I was eating contained it as well. There are no words. Afterwards, they tried to justify themselves: first by saying we had not asked the waiter about the sauce, then by saying he had not understood, then by asking whether I could not just take some medicine to feel better, and so on. This is disgraceful for a restaurant. If I had been allergic rather than coeliac, I might not be here to tell the story — I could have gone into anaphylactic shock. A complete failure on every level.

Good quality food, make sure you book in advance or you may not get a seat !
