La Terraza - Chetumal

What a wonderful place! You'd really miss it if you didn't find it, so take a taxi if you stay in the middle to eat here. We loved it so much that we ate there twice! In the first night we simply tried Fajitas because we were unfamiliar with most menus and despite the delicious, the very nice owner informed us that we probably ordered the least good on the menu. LOL, on another day we went to lunch and tried the Ceviche-Mixto... Look, I was skeptical that my father is Peruvian, but that was one of the best cereal I've ever had not quite the same, but soooo good. Large shrimps, well cooked octopus and a large amount. We shared the mediano and between two people. It's good value, the price that really is not badly superior to what you get. Great food, great ambience (live music on Saturday night we were there), and especially, great staff.... the owner, Angel, is a doll!!!

This place is a jewel. Great service and delicious food. The Ceviche was by far some of the best out there. It is worth making one of your meals here, you will not regret it. We didn't try the steak, but they cook their meat on salt plates that bring them to the table... definitely something we'll try next time.
