Every year, we vacation in Chetek, and we always make it a tradition to end our trip with breakfast at Norm's. It all started last year when we were searching for a homestyle breakfast to fuel us for our journey home. Choosing Norm's turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. The food is incredible, and while the diner, its staff, and the cook have their own unique quirks, it truly is a fantastic place to eat. P.S. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!
This charming little family restaurant only accepts cash, but they have an ATM on-site for your convenience. It can get quite busy, but it's definitely worth the visit. I recommend the Belt Buster Breakfast—it really hits the spot!
This delightful little restaurant is a hidden treasure, operated by a devoted owner and a welcoming staff, offering prices straight out of 1998. We treated three adults and four children to a wonderful meal for only $42, including tip. If you’re seeking authentic dishes made by hardworking people, I highly recommend supporting this fantastic local establishment that strives to serve the community at unbelievably reasonable prices. If I didn’t live 40 miles away, I would definitely make this a regular stop for our family. As for how kid-friendly it is, all four of my kids, who are all under nine, nearly cleared their plates, which is quite impressive given their different tastes!
The best hot beef, gravy, and mashed potatoes anywhere! Both the food and service are outstanding!
Service was great. Food came fast and was delicious. Coziest little place in Chetek. Prices very reasonable compared to other places. Not our first time here and definitely won't be our last.
