To our embarrassment, the manager approached us and loudly declared that we wouldn't be allowed to leave until the payment was made. It was quite humiliating, especially considering we were just two elderly parents and their middle-aged child. This situation could have been handled much more discreetly—perhaps by simply taking our contact information with a promise to return the next day. I'm sure similar incidents have happened in the past. This manager could really benefit from some additional training in customer service. After this experience, it will be a while before we decide to return.

We absolutely love La Mexicana! It's a fantastic spot for family outings and meeting up with friends. We're so fortunate to have this gem right in our neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. Everyone we know adores this place. Food: 5/5.

The food is consistently of good quality, although the service can vary depending on who's working. Overall, it's a wonderful family-owned restaurant. Taco Tuesdays are a must-try, and their queso dip is highly addictive! I'm not much of a drinker, but I've heard that their margaritas are excellent. Overall rating: 4/5.

Terrible service and they were far from busy. We had to repeatedly ask for drinks, then beg for refills. It took about 45 min to find a waiter to take orders. The noise level of one table in the back was loud. I mean yelling loud. The female manager refuse to ask them to be a bit quieter saying “i can’t do anything about them,” so in your own place you can’t ask obnoxious patrons to tone it down??? As s result our party of 10 will not only not return but we will tell everyone else??

Food, service and atmosphere are always excellent. I've never had a bad experience with any facet of this restaurant.Food: 5/5
