White Swan - Chesterfield

Located across from the church with a cozy ambiance, this restaurant offers a good variety of tap beers from local breweries as well as a reasonable selection of bottled beers. Enjoy the free wifi while sitting indoors or take advantage of the recommended outdoor seating.

We typically love dining at this restaurant and I would have given it a 5-star rating before last Sunday. However, the Sunday dinner was not up to par. The food lacked variety, the meat was tough, and the Yorkshire pudding was undercooked. In the past, the chips, burgers, and paninis were always outstanding. Also, if you enjoy Coca-Cola, although it doesn't taste quite the same, I believe it's still a good option.

Wow, I believe I just had the most delicious fish and chips of my life. The fish was large and thick, and the chips were fantastic. Even my picky 3-year-old granddaughter cleaned her plate. The staff were very friendly. We arrived at the restaurant right before it opened and it was raining, but they didn't make us wait outside. They kindly let us in until they were ready to start serving.

Beautiful pub with good service. eating was okay. not the best quality steak, but was well seasoned and cooked as I requested. beer was good and the prices were cheap. I would eat here again and would like to bring my family during the day.

Great Food, Great Price, Great Staff! 2 for 1 Tuesdays are my fave. The burgers are by far the best in Chesterfield. The fact I can bring the dog with me makes it just that little bit more special. For those of you who don't want dogs around them (I can't see why not) they have a seating area dog free. Keep up the great work guys!
