So disappointed, when we arrived to check in for our three night stay, as booked over the phone to the manager a few months before, we were told that there was... read more So disappointed, when we arrived to check in for our three night stay, as booked over the phone to the manager a few months before, we were told that there was no booking found on their system. The manager was called and we were told that he was on his way in to sort the problem. The problem was that he didn’t write our booking down! We were offered a free drink and a nights stay in an unsuitable room but we declined as we needed three nights accommodation. We found somewhere else but it was considerably more. We will not be returning or recommending the Spread eagle again.

Ho... read more We stopped by this restaurant because it is in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. We were a bit disappointed to find that some of the hand pumps were not in service. However, the Ashover Littlemoor Citra beer was in good condition.

He organized a buff... read more We decided to have our wedding reception at The Spread Eagle and it was a fantastic choice! Connor was extremely accommodating and friendly. He organized a buffet for us that was absolutely wonderful. The venue, atmosphere, and staff were all perfect. We are so grateful to everyone at The Spread Eagle for helping make our big day a success. Thank you to all involved!
