Very nice facility and seating opportunity, staff friendly helpful. when we reported a problem with the toilet, it was immediately corrected. only the problem was when it was busy, the tables were not cleaned or cleaned in time. once I had to delete the table itself. otherwise were drinks good, service with the app was also good.

I do love this particular pub. Great food, seating areas inside and out, lovely place, Clean, with friendly staff. They do run out of popular food quickly though which is a downside for me.. Like, if they're busy at lunch which is a regular, they have certain foods unavailable by early evening /teatime as we say in these parts also, not a fan of their changing back to the sachets for sauces/vinegar etc.. That seems less hygienic than the bottles to be honest, they are a pain to open too. Staff are great though in general, considering the times we are in.

Helped by exceptional Spring weather which meant we could make use of the large garden, we had an excellent lunch here on our visit to Chesterfield. The hotel is an imposing and stylish building with well kept facilities. Usual good selection of beers and hearty pub food. Cheerful friendly staff and good value for money.

That’s why we were especially grateful for the woman behind the bar who took the time to make sure our order was correct. She even went into the kitchen to double-check the details for us. The service was prompt, and everything was just as we requested. We truly appreciated this, as it made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. A huge thank you to the lady who served me at the bar!

What a fantastic surprise! I booked a standard double room, and it was delightful. The room wasn't huge, but it was definitely larger than I anticipated. It was super clean, and the thoughtful little touches, like milk for morning coffee and extra amenities, showed their attention to detail. I received so much more than I expected for the price. The staff couldn't have been more helpful!
