Called in placed order and didn't ha... read more I was on my way home from work and fancied a takeaway tea,so saw this place,rang my wife to see what rest of family wanted. Called in placed order and didn't have to wait too long before it was ready. Staff very helpful, more importantly the food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place.

It seemed like the locals were getting se... read more I recently visited this restaurant after a long time. It was quite busy, and we had to wait for our food to be cooked. It seemed like the locals were getting served first, even if they arrived after us. We waited for about 10-15 minutes alongside other customers. We ordered a large Cod and chips and a small Fish and chips, but several people who were known to the staff came in, ordered, and received their food before us, even though they hadn't pre-ordered and ordered the same dishes as us. This resulted in us having to wait for our chips to be cooked again. The place was bustling with busy staff and Just Eat drivers. The food was delicious, but the long wait was disappointing.

Our first serving was kebab late at night on a weekday when, who I can only assume is the owner, wasn’t there. The food didn’t blow my head off but it was nice and everything you’d expect from a chippy. Around a month down the line it’s takeaway night in the household and we haven’t stopped thinking about that juicy lamb doner and succulent chicken. I spoke on the phone with the owner and when I hung up I turned to my wife and said ‘what a nice man, I liked him’. Suddenly 15 minutes had passed and a dark cloud hung over my transit courier as I pulled into Littlemoor shops. None the wiser I payed for my food, smiled and raced home exited like Charlie when he found the golden ticket. I walk in, give my wife the wink because in food terms, it was about to go down. We had a double date planned with a kebab and nothing was going to get in the way of tonight. I unwrapped and opened it and little to both of our disappointments we was knocked back with what we saw. On the right there was some golden chunky chips fluffy and all. On the left there was a mixture of Donner meat all mixed up as one would only expect. On top however, it took a turn. There was an excuse of a salad that can only be described as a vegatarian-reverser. There was cabbage (which was gave to me as lettuce) was like chewing on a box of match’s, the cucumber still had last nights seman on and the onion was wearing Harry’s cloke of invisibility. Thats not even the worse part. All of that might still have been edible if the sauce I asked for wasn’t the same size as a very small birds facies We dug and dug into the food to see if it was hidden but we couldn’t find any anywhere. The portion size was literally the size of a fingernail and it completely ruined out food. I thought about using some mayonnaise out of the fridge but that’s not the same, I even thought about driving to the other mockery of a chippy up here but that went out the window too. I’m sad, mad and worst of all still hungry because I couldn’t it. So between the salad and and sauce (the items that come complementary with the meal) they’ve ruined my night, life and probably marriage. Thankyou. Great staff Good prices Easy commute
