Satchmo's Bar & Grill - Chesterfield

The pictures of eating on the open table gave the impression that this restaurant is raised. that's not it. it was not a bad place, not as shown. that was okay.

I had expected a spicy in my Croele food. also, why does a restaurant need to make reservations with a seat yourself? I bought a date for her birthday here and it was totally humiliating.

There were 4 of us, we got drinks and 2 appetizers and then we were forgotten. There was only bartender and our waitress was very sweet but had too many tables watch. We ordered another round of drinks and dinner. It took forever to get our order. The Preakness was on the TV and a Blues game followed. The bar was full and it seemed the staff was overwhelmed. When we finally got our food it was only warm. It was very disappointing.

I had the Tavern Burger with swiss. Food was okay. Service was good.

I'm sorry that Satchmo........tried kareoke the other night, much too loud talking to tables of parachutes about the mc of the game. secondly, the steak tacos were dreadfully dried small meat chicks. to be fair, I have been several times before location and enjoyed the atmosphere, eating and service. the service was great last night and was every time I was there
