Great service from Derick. Salad was fantastic. Au gratin potatoes are wonderful. Steak arrive very rare when ordered medium. We did not comment but Derick noticed and advised manager who offered a desert. Patio is nice but close to the highway View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ruth's Chris Steak House Chesterfield:
Food was very good. Service didn’t match the prices or expectations. Not the servers fault. Management is likely more concerned with profits and stays understaffed on purpose. Can’t imagine spending another $500 unless the service is exceptional. View all feedback.
Ruth's Chris in Chesterfield is so beautiful inside and classy. I love the very high ceilings. They have a nice patio on the second floor. We came to celebrate a birthday and ordered the petit filet, classic and the Norwegian Salmon. For side we ordered the asparagus and the sweet potato casserole which is out of this world. Everything was very well prepared. Our server was a bit off that night, we had request water, he took like 20 minutes to bring out our capuchinos, etc
Love love love this location! RC is high on my list of places to eat! I arrived 1hr before dinner so my date and I went to the bar for drinks. I ordered my go too which is the raspberry cosmo and lemon drop. I then stepped outside the box and tried a spicy margarita. 10/10. I didn't even like margaritas but Jessica the bartender reassured me I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't. I pacifically came to this location for the sea bass, not all of the RC has it as an option on the menu. It was definitely a 10/10! I'm not a fan of the garlic crust it's comes with, so I modify it and have them blackened it. They were running a chef's special that night, which was a bone in ribeye with garlic shrimp on top. I can't even rate this dish with numbers it was SO good the chef deserved a kiss! lol I also ordered the seafood gumbo, seared ahi tuna, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was a 10/10. Our server was great, very attentive, helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this location, you will NOT be disappointed.
We had not made a reservation and it was last minute. We were able to sit at the bar and have dinner. The bar seats were very comfortable. My daughter was visiting from out of town and my husband and I wanted to treat her to a nice dinner. There is a big WOW! factor when you walk into the dining room. The ambiance is amazing! The bar was a nice size for food portions and the service was impeccable. Water was immediately placed in front of us and orders were placed afterwards. We all ordered from Ruth's Classics: The caesar salad was delicious, the dressing just popped, when you ate it. I had the Filet Oscar, prepared medium rare. Very delicious, I really wanted to salt it a little, but did not. I had very little lump crab and the sauce was delicious. The steak was mouthwatering. OMG-the creamed spinach was very good, rich and savory. The corn was a tex mex mixture and was very delicious. We ordered a bottle of wine: Justin Cabernet Sauvignon-very delicious, mild and fruity and not really dry. This was a great choice for us. I felt like we did better ordering from the Classics because it ranged from $60-$70 for the meat, salad and entree. This is my third time eating at Ruth's Chris. Each time I am just flabbergasted at the bill! Is it worth it? Definitely. I will always come back for a great meal, beautiful and nice ambiance, and great service.
I went to Ruth 's Chris for a birthday celebration . The ambiance was Modern Upper Crust but they do have a bar that offers a more casual option if you would like to catch the game or just after work beverages. I don 't eat steak so I had the catch of the day which was Snapper and it was great, but the show stopper was the sweet potato casserole. I don 't even like the word casserole and usually avoid anything claiming to be one, but this dish here..... delicious! It was fluffy, and not too dense. The crumb on top is what really did it for me. The gentleman that attended to us was attentive, pleasant and got everyone 's meal out timely and accurate. I would definitely go back
I simply cannot stress the 5 star review enough. My boyfriend and I went for the first time for our anniversary. We're HUGE Gordon Ramsay fans and have been to a few of his restaurants. My lobster bisque was very liquidy but the flavor was still there! The Oscar style filet mignon and truffle filet mignon BEAT any steaks we've purchased from any other restaurant. I'm starving again just thinking about it. The loaded hash browns are so crispy too and hands down the best sweat potatoes we've ever had! And don't even get me started on the carrot cake. The roof top experience was PHENOMENAL. Not the best view because it's chesterfield but the restaurant itself is gorgeous. We also had an elevator ride to the top, because forget walking stairs in heels. Servers got tables mixed up so there was some confusion initially but Kat ended up being our server. She was AMAZING. I feel like we've been friends for years now and we talked like we knew eachother prior. I will 100% be requesting her section every time we return! This is our new favorite restaurant and we've been talking about it nonstop since we went (it's been like 2 weeks now). I cant wait to go back!! Couldn't recommended this place enough.
