Not only are there designated vegan options, staff at both locations are informed (often plant-based eaters) and able to alter menu items to suit. The proximity of both locations to fitness trails and shopping is a bonus! View all feedback.
What Cora Olson doesn't like about Bike Stop Cafe:
This is a charming, rustic restaurant with tasty food, though it isn’t very vegan-friendly. My husband ordered a dish that couldn’t be made egg-free, even though we requested a plant-based substitute. He still enjoyed it and said it was delicious, especially for a vegetarian. I opted for a mocha with oat milk, which was delightful. However, I found the extra charge of $1.00 for oat milk to be a bit excessive. I proba... View all feedback.
This is a quaint place with good food, but not entirely vegan friendly. My husband ordered a wrap and could not substitute the egg for anything plant based, so ate it any way and said it was tasty if you are a vegetarian. I opted for just a mocha with oat milk. It was a delicious drink but I thought the additional charge of $1.00 for the oat milk was a bit steep. I probably won’t be back, unless I am looking for a good cup of Joe.
Got the Happy Planet Vegan Burger and Vegan Queso. The vegan queso was delicious, but the burger was just ok.
The staff were eager to make a change to my smoothie to make it vegan. Sandwich was great.

I really enjoyed the bike shop café, but it seems to have changed hands and is now called Bicycle Shops Bakery. I’m not sure what happened, but we finally returned after the COVID restrictions. The staff were great, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the potato soup and a chicken salad sandwich, and both were not good. The soup was lukewarm and had a muddy taste, and the sandwich only had a small amount of chicken salad with a lot of lettuce and tomato—definitely not appetizing. I felt bad, so I discreetly covered it with my napkin. My partner ordered the chicken and wild rice soup, and it arrived cold and he found it unappetizing as well. My son rated the cinnamon bun as mediocre. It’s sad to see that this place has lost its charm; we loved it before, and I hope they can bring it back to its former glory.
