Waffle House - Chester

Don't waste your time going to this location. It was truly as if I was invisible. I walked in and sat down at the only clean (somewhat) table in the place. After sitting there for about 6-7 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone I asked one of the waitresses if this table was open. She appeared startled as if I had just suddenly appeared out of thin air. She took my order only to turn around and tell my order to another waitress, but she had forgotten the details of the order so she had to ask again what I wanted. I then waited 20 minutes with no one ever coming back to my table. I eventually got up and left with no one even noticing that I was leaving. I went home and fixed breakfast.

Food was excellent absolutely so wasn't the service. Was sad that when I went back home they were closed due to be short staffed Went back to the Waffle House, again the food was good and they're still short staffed

Went and sat down. Waitress was called out by the cook who was cleaning. She complained, from the back and we could hear her, I 'm not doing any more, I 'm supposed to be going home. It 's shift change. We were sitting at a table and she asked Yall trying to eat here? We said we were and she loudly goes without making eye contact, What time is it? It 's time for shift change. We left while she complained walking to the back to get something. Won 't ever be back to this location again. Cook that was cleaning even tried to apologize for her not sure why. I didn 't catch the guys name but I told him I appreciated his assistance and to have a good night. He was very nice. The waitress doesn 't even deserve a job.

Stopped for breakfast on the way to our honeymoon the day after our wedding. We excitedly told the server that she was the first person to serve us as newlyweds. She congratulated us with two free waffles! It was also our first time ever eating at a waffle house. Food was great and so was the service!

Food is always consistent and well cooked. This location tends to be extremely loud, specifically when certain team members wash dishes. It's a miracle the dishes survive the pre-rinse. Servers tend to be cranky and frazzled. Do not pass by this location without enjoying their food though! Waffle House still delivers consistent quality and familiar options. Remember, it's short-order food and service, not a 5 star restaurant, enjoy and continue on your trip!
