What Chris Redfern doesn't like about Chester Common Table:
The restaurant is overpriced, offering food that resembles Applebee's quality, and the presentation is lacking. The decor feels outdated, and the seating is uncomfortable. In terms of service, I would rate it a 3 out of 5, but the atmosphere left much to be desired, earning just a 1. For dinner, the cost per person ranged from $50 to $100. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was inviting, and there were amazing food options available. I dined in for dinner, and for a reasonable price of $10–20 per person, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying tonight's soup!

This restaurant offers overpriced cafeteria-style food at best, and the male owner is unprofessional and rude, lacking basic customer service skills. They set up a band outside in the sweltering 95-degree heat, leaving us seated in a neglected backyard. To make matters worse, they made elderly ladies move from their table after they had already ordered, claiming it was reserved for someone else—despite no actual reservations in place. There was no hostess to greet us, and when we paid, we were then directed to a dirty table in the sun. I will never return. It's disheartening to think my family supported this establishment during the winter when it was empty, but after this experience, we won't be back. This place wouldn't survive outside of a small town.
