Ashton Creek Vineyard - Chester

It's a beautiful place close to home. I live in Chesterfield, so it's really nice that you don't have to drive far to get an experience. The Charcuterie board was delicious and fresh, I'm not really a wine person except sweet red, but they had a strawberry mud that tasted amazing.

Finally, it was here to see how we (I and wife) came here and we had a great time. We sat inside, but the outside view is also amazing, we had a few drinks and the food was great. Food and beverages we really enjoyed, we had sweet tasting in no big fan of dry wine...

What a great time we had in the winery! C.A.R.E. Dog rescue stopped an adoption and celebration this day!. What a great way to help the community! Kudos to you and the Thibault family for this benefit! Wine was delicious, the wine hoses were the BOMB, delicious, so good! Great atmosphere and I mentioned that the wine hoses were good?!?

Her food was good, however, if you like sweet/white wines, then her choice would not impress you. Surprisingly, her red wine “sweet summer time” was the sweetest and most delicious. If the weather is good, I recommend her terrace seats (which we did). You have a beautiful outdoor seating area, and if you lean over the wooden rail, you can also see a charming little pond. You order the food in the bar and they give you a hive that lets you know when the food is ready. The lady was friendly enough to try some wines before they commit. We ordered some of their food together with the wines. Her meat and cheese plate had a great presentation and tasted quite well; although the crackers who came with the meat and cheese plate did not. But the meat/cheese were nice. I think Crab Dip and She-crab soup were better tasting than the meat and cheese plate. Overall, this is a good winery if you like average/red/dryer wine and go on a nice day so you can enjoy their terrace and pond. Unfortunately, their wine selection is nothing special.

Wonderful atmosphere! Good customer service! Food was not bad.... but the wine was a bit bitter for my liking. If you like sweet wine (Moscato sweet) like I do, you may want to stick with the slushie... everything else was fresh and fruity but not really sweet.
