This lovely little café is located in the heart of the city. The jacket potatoes were the best we've ever tasted! The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and there's Roman floor heating in the basement—what's not to love? View all feedback.
Lovely cafe centrally located in Chester! The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The place is baby friendly, I requested baby's food to be heated which was brought from home and it was done straightaway. The cafe food is freshly prepared and they accommodate food intolerances. There's quite a variety to choose from. Thanks to the sunny weather, it was perfect!!
Had a brilliant lunch of salmon avocado on sourdough toast, hash browns, mushrooms salad. Delicious!
This place is not very imposing and can not stand among all competition on the bridge st, but the food and service is good, and they have something very special. on the back of caffe, they can step down to the most interesting Roman remains in chester the floor heating of the Roman baths. well worth a visit.

We actually had our breakfast booked in another cafe further down the same street, but they didn't open at 10am and looked like no signs of life at all
