What davidinchester doesn't like about The Plough Inn:
I hope these guys can up their game on food. I know covid hit independent pubs hard. Went for Sunday roast today. Long story short, beef was terrible, yoorkshire puddings terrible and microwaved. We have been here many times in the past and had great food. I think the chef has moved on. On the plus side, service was lovely and the boss did deduce one of the meals from the bill. Beautiful. Past as we were riding to Chester.what a find.food and staff amazing
A restaurant with good parking and outdoor seating, but some reviews highlight unfriendly service and subpar food. One visitor was put off by a rude bartender, while another complained of greasy and poorly cooked menu items. Despite mixed reviews, positive comments include attentive staff, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Some customers cite lengthy drives to return for the tasty dishes, while others enjoyed the friendly service during their visits. Although some experienced issues with service and food quality, others had positive experiences and are planning to return.
