We live local and have eaten here before. Decided on a Saturday evening visit last minute. Pub has a pleasant internal appearance and feels like you are eating in a restaurant. We were both happy with our starters and my wife was happy with her...
Very pleasant pub grub in an exemplary setting. Friendly, cheerful service, and excellent prices. Well worth a visit if in the area.
Pleasant interior.... food ok ..... service ok but not very friendly. No condiments offered. Wouldn't rush back.
We called in for lunch mid afternoon yesterday and got a nice welcome from Chris the manager. Nice lunch, freshly cooked, especially the chips. Our little dog Oreo was made welcome with water and biscuits. Will definitely be back
Lovely surroundings and the food was extremely good. Plenty of choice with some smaller plates if required. Service was also good. Already planning our next visit
