Top brands for eating the place and, above all, the service. the personal here are the most loving and nicest people, smiling, funny and with a emotional way and wise that simply warms them as soon as they get in. Eating looks great and tastes even better, and the ambiente is always so secret and relaxing. it is a deffo coming back soon for me! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Cheshire Cat:
had the worst meal for a long time. my code was over boiled, gummy and tasteless. the meal was hardly warm. my other guests were also not overly impressed by their eating. very disappointed. and to supplement injuries, the service was diabolical slow. it took over an hour to get meals and half an hour to get desserts that were the better part of the meal. I didn't complain as much as it was the point - if they had of... View all feedback.
Went here for our Christmas Dinner, staff were very friendly, prices reasonable and they gave us a perfect Xmas lunch, beef wellington was to die for. We regularly visit this pub as we travel the canal by boat and it is dog friendly, great team of youngsters who looked after us, highly recommend.
Booked The Cheshire Cat for my Dad's Celebration of life. We had a room all to ourselves and it was honestly perfect. Cosy, inviting. We selected a hot cold buffet and teas coffees were self-service which was included in the cost. They had a large TV screen that we connected our laptop to, to show photo's of my Dad. We could not fault any of it. Thanks to Tom Kate for looking after us all on the day. Sammy Mally Payne
Booked a table for two. Met by friendly staff, we were served quickly. Food was hot, tasty and a very generous portion perfect . We were served by Sophie who was polite and professional.
This is the BEST roast dinner we have ever had beyond a home cooked roast. It was perfection on a plate!
Visited for lunch with friends, there were 6 of us. The pub was very cold when we arrived and we asked if the fire could be lit. Eventually the fire was lit, but the place didn’t really warm up, we sat and shivered! We all had vegetable wraps which were nice but the service was terrible. The table was dirty when we sat down, we had reserved a table and we’re shown to it so I would’ve expected it to be clean, but it had crumbs on it and greasy food remains. We wanted desserts, but the waitress had disappeared so we paid at the bar and left. Not a great experience!
