What timcG7422ZY doesn't like about Paysan:
We popped in for half a lager and were asked to leave half way through it for No apparent reason. We are all mature people and sensible. I certainly will not return, We are well known in the City and the Doorman who knew us didn't understand why manager had asked us to go, they had just sent him over to tell us.. It was only 9pm ish so we had only just walked in there. Very strange Customer service and skills! View all feedback.
Intimate and relaxed venue with a phenomenal choice of wine, staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely!
Paysan is an awesome wine venue, one of the best that Chester has to offer, with Cavern of The Curious Gnome upstairs for beer lovers. The staff are all an absolute delight. If you're not sure what to have, they will listen to what you say you like and then find you something delicious and perfect. The chicken and chips is banging too.
One of the absolute best places in Chester, great staff, great wine, great food. Can't beat it.
We were told about Paysan and then saw it by chance so thought we would pay it a visit. We absolutely loved it. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I had the house red. It was such a nice drinkable red wine at a reasonable price. We also had the cheese board and Italian meats. Again, really good food and reasonably priced. It might have taken us awhile to find it but I can’t wait to return!!
Dropped in for a bottle on a Friday afternoon and grabbed a seat by the window as was reletively quiet when we arrived but soon got very busy. Nice ambiance with good tunes in the background and the barman was very helpful. Will defo be back again and not just for the wine but for the cheese too
