What tracy8623 doesn't like about Koconut Grove:
The atmosphere and service at this restaurant are great. We started with popadoms, onion bhajis, and lamb kebabs, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we ordered chicken, chicken tikka in a curry sauce, and two lamb dishes in sauce. Unfortunately, my lamb was overcooked and fatty, and the sauce was more like gravy. I stumbled upon this restaurant as my original choice was closed, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Unlike many Indian restaurants I have been to, this place offered a unique selection of dishes that impressed me. During my two-night stay in Chester, I dined here twice and tried something new each time. The variety of meat, fish, vegetable, and vegan options catered to everyone's preferences. While the lighting could have been softer, the delicious food made up for it. The helpful and knowledgeable staff added to the great dining experience. If you enjoy Indian cuisine and find yourself in Chester, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The spelling of the name may vary, but rest assured, it's the same top-notch dining experience.

I sent it back and the staff were very apologetic. I ended up having a chicken tikka starter instead, which was good. It's a pity about the lamb dish because it has put me off wanting to return.
