Kingfisher - Cheshire West and Chester

We have been living across the street for over 20 years, longer than the pub itself has been here. During this time, we have consistently been disappointed with the quality of the food, causing us to frequently avoid dining out at our local pub. However, upon a recent recommendation from a friend and a desire to enjoy an evening in our community, we decided to book dinner this week (Monday, Valentine's Day). To our surprise, the team had a special menu for the evening (which we were unaware of when we made the reservation). I opted for the prawn cocktail followed by the sea bass, both of which were simply excellent. The food was nicely prepared and very well cooked, especially the fish. My wife ordered mussels from the specials menu and lasagne from the regular menu, both of which were also very good. We were so impressed that we spoke with the manager to commend the welcome and attentive service from the team. It was a pleasant surprise! We will likely return to try their Sunday menu in the near future.

The restaurant had excellent food, a great atmosphere, and delicious drinks. Our server, Nathan, was very kind and attentive, especially with our 4-year-old who enjoyed his company. We will definitely return in the future!
