City Spice - Cheshire West and Chester

Was almost empty when we visited about 7 o'clock. pleasantly surprised by the standard of food. my curry was delicious, service was friendly and would return definitiw. Seems card machine not worked, maybe why it was quiet, but I would certainly recommend

One of Chester's hidden gems the place where the residents and the locals go instead of being drawn to the many generic brands that pop up in all cities. The service is laid back outstanding. Always attentive to their guests and informative about...the food on offer. My Father In Law (Birmingham born so knows his Balti! loves this gaff which, although you don't know him, is a recommendation of the highest order! Can't speak highly enough of this easily accessible place, with great staff and fantastic food. Would highly recommend the Achari Chicken for those who like a bit of heat , and the deliciously creamy Tarka Dhal is a family favourite. Even the Mother In Law loved it. So much so, she wiped the dust off her card and paid the bill. Splendid behaviour.

My husband and I have been getting takeout from City Spice for months now. It's our favourite meal to have and every time we have it we are continually blown away by how amazing it is! It's even got to the point where we are...ordering extra dishes just to try them and we are continually surprised by all of the awesome flavours. We highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Five of us visited in the early evening. We were looked after extremely well by the host. Good choice of pretty standard Indian food. Well cooked and presented. Tasty and good value for money. We would go again.

Ordered online as a treat for the family. Food was meant to arrive at 8:30 but didn't actually arrive until 9pm. The reason? Because the delivery driver didn't know where the house was so she was sat outside in her car for half an hour...which was making the food cold. The chips and rice were freezing at this point. My partners curry was all sauce with very very little meat and he also found a hair in it. Mine and my mother in laws curries were alright. The delivery driver was wearing no gloves when delivering the food and also took no notice of social distancing as she went right up to the front door. Not happy and not ordering from there again
