Chester Lakes Cafe

I went to this café today and ordered two slices of toast and coffee. When I asked about the price, the man behind the counter said it would be £3.60. After paying, he asked if I wanted the coffee right away, to which I said yes. I found a table and started drinking my coffee, only to realize it was instant coffee, which seemed overpriced for what I received. I waited and waited for my toast, which finally arrived twenty minutes later. The toast was good, but it shouldn't have taken so long to prepare, especially since there were no other customers in the café. Although the café is situated in a beautiful setting surrounded by lakes, I won't be returning due to the high prices and slow service.

I went to this restaurant for breakfast with some friends after making a reservation. We were seated in a large marquee tent. Despite it not being crowded, the service was very slow. When we ordered, we were not given a ticket number. My expensive full breakfast arrived with no sausage or mushrooms and was cold. None of us received the correct order. Due to time constraints, we couldn't complain at the time. We will not be returning and my friends feel the same way. The service was poor, the food was cold and incorrect, and to top it off, it was expensive.

A good old proper cafe serving good food. What more can you say. Ideal for the location! oh and v friendly staff.

Having booked the table to celebrate a special wedding anniversary we arrived and were guided to our table The restaurant is in a lovely location near to the lakes and the restaurant overlooks It was disappointing that I pointed out on booking that it was a special occasion but no congratulations nothing However.we had a lovely meal the food was excellent but we felt the place lacked a bit of atmosphere was expecting a band or live music but just felt a little flat but if you are going for the food you won’t be disappointed

Accessed by a long gravelly road to what can only be described as a downtrodden holiday camp scene complete with unappealing cafe that serves barely edible food that takes an age to prepare despite an excess of staff and lack of customers this is not a place to eat.
