Visited here for brunch after Chester 10km with a few couple of friends. We all had the full English breakfast. Toast, tomato, beans, sausage, egg and bacon (see my photo) £6.95 tea at £2. You had to order at the counter and the breakfast would be served to you at the table. Don't bother ordering or going in after 3pm, the food has gone freezing cold and stale, despite being open for another 2 hours!! Pork and apple pasty entirely cold, rock hard and had no apple inside. They both went in the bin. Such terrible service to serve food that is not fresh. This is the second time we have had this issue. View all feedback.
Ham salad batch with one thin slice of ham £3.50. According to management this is the correct size portion. Bland and tasteless. Better sandwich shops within walking distance.
I visit on a regular basis with my family, lots of staff providing a good level of service. Lots of choice, not the cheapest sandwich shop/bakery around but good quality food at a reasonable price.
Young dark haired lad working is lazy and moody, does everything to a minimum and doesn't even cut the sausages he just puts them on the gap so they roll off. his jacket potatoes are a joke and I'll be walking straight out if he's behind the counter again.
What have I been missing all these years by not eating at a Chatwins The freshly made Chicken, Bacon Spring Onion on Focaccia was simply delicious. Great, friendly service as well; modest price increase for eating in. 30 mins free parking if you’re lucky enough to find a space.
Nice food but very rude staff. Felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Hardly acknowledged me and had a very abrupt manner in serving. Not the kind of service I'd expect at all. If you can tolerate that the food is fine Still consistently rude as if they don't want you to be there two months later. It's a shame because it's a nice location and the food is good
