Bird In Hand

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were blown away by the delicious food. We all decided to order the Sunday dinner and every bite was outstanding. We agreed that it was the best Sunday lunch we've had while dining out. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the excellent service provided by all staff members throughout our meal, we were thoroughly impressed. We give this restaurant five stars and thank them for a wonderful dining experience.

The part was really generous and plate large enough to take up food and potty. nicely presented and the service is in the second to none. we booked a table over the phone and sat right away when we arrived. the staff was brilliant at ordering and eating within minutes. very friendly staff is a bonus. total bill for just came to definitiw a place to visit again.

I'll be honest, I've lived in chester for years after I've moved from the isle of man here. the bird in the hand was a past on my radar. on Sunday november I booked my wife and I in restaurant and I am so glad that I did it, my wife had the gammonbread, I had the trio of meatbread and it was the best Sunday roast ever. I wanted the kickerbockerglory for sweet, but I was so full after the main course, I couldn't. I should have come back later! I had trappers. my only regret was that I haven't eaten here yet. I will be regular now. Thank you. absolutely fantastic

We love our local pub! great food, great business and they even have a vegan option on the menu. Dogs are welcome so that our whole family can enjoy our weekly Friday evening treat

They simply have here for a meal, what a nice little pub! eating was nice menu is small, but had something for everyone and was very cheap. bar delicate has awakened us with his service, knowledge and passion for gin and ensured that we were very well looked after! what a small jewel of a pub xx
