What JANETDENISE doesn't like about The George Dragon:
Very welcoming staff. Food overpriced and not attractive looking. Salmon fishcakes excellent. Pate covered in a purple mess. Looked awful. Turkey roast had no stuffing or chipolata sausage. Ham egg and chips , ham had fat round edges. Chips were wedges not chips. Overpriced unattractive food. Toilets very cramped. Accessible toilet hard to find. 3 steps into conservatory. Best avoided as poor value. View all feedback. What User likes about The George Dragon:

read moreNestled in a charming village center, this restaurant offers a warm atmosphere and friendly service, with standout dishes like salmon fishcakes and delightful desserts. However, opinions are divided—some patrons found the food overpriced and unappetizing, with issues like tough potatoes and watery gravy, while others praised the quality of lighter bites and the cocktail menu. Mixed experiences with parking and a note of cramped restroom conditions further complicate the overall impression. Despite the inconsistencies in food quality, the inviting decor and accommodating staff keep diners hopeful for a more satisfying visit in the future.
