was an amazing pub where I want to go again, here they can find very good beer and eat also, the atmosphere its very beautiful and the building its very beautiful with its old look, the building from 1300 or something, with very nice decor, will be a pleasure for every person to drink and eat here. What Neil Sutton doesn't like about The Black Lion:
On a Sunday afternoon, we went to have a quiet pint. When we went to open the door through the courtyard, we saw a sign saying there were no children allowed under the age of 12. Well done to the owner. He's able to run a business which can ostracise half of Nantwich. Never mind the three previous attempts I've made to try and drink there but it was closed. What next? Nice pub. the smoke area even serves direct customers, no entry and exit!
Having turned 'on-spec ' BH w/e, could not have been more impressed. Cracking beer and lovely Sunday lunch. Thanks Darren/Louise
Good local pub within an old building full of character. They have a pretty reasonable selection of drinks and the staff are friendly. No dedicated parking is available however, there is a local Pay-and-Display carpark opposite.
